Smooth Sailing:During a week at sea, time stops and enchantment begins.

By Carroll Stoner, Photography by Colleen Duffley

"Knowing it's a risky business, I travel with an eye out for magic. Enchantment is elusive; we take our skeptical selves with us on vacation. But the minute you board the J&E Riggin, a Maine Windjammer, you enter another world."

Edible Coastal Maine

Summer 2006
